The Bird House

All of my girls are totally in love with nature (not that Justin isn't, but he is in a different way). Ashley is forever trying to plant every fruit seed she can find! I catch the twins with the small kid watering cans that Jeanne bought for them all to help her water the plants. So, after spilling a trail of water from the bathroom to the back door, and in 30 degree weather the girls are trying to water grandma's plants. I keep trying to explain that the plants sleep during the winter and that we can water them in the spring, but they just don't seem to get it.

Here they built a bird house for the birds with their lincoln logs. Once again, it was a very cold day, and they tried to take it right outside to give it to the birds, because the birds needed their house. I really had to fight them on that one. Besides the fact that the birds are flying even more south than us right now, we have 2 dogs and 3 cats, that would scare off any birds. It was such a sweet thought though!!!!
