We try to get things done together as a family. Here are all the kids and Jason when we were working on the water line and conduit pipe for the electricity. The kids helped to cover the ditches when we were done. Once we showed them how to do this, the trick was to not let the kids, or the dogs, cover the parts of the ditch that we were ready to have covered yet. It was a fun family evening (until the very end when the kids grew tired of the project).
